Migration law
Residence law for companies
You employ staff from abroad – and you are waiting for the grant or renewal of their residence permits? If the authority does not decide in time, the job of your trained employees is at stake. This is exactly where I step in.

On protracted proceedings: a formal reminder and action for failure to act (§ 75 VwGO) — before an employment ban looms
Residence law for your workforce
The problem
As an employer, you are obliged to ensure that your employees hold a valid residence permit. If the immigration authority processes applications too slowly, employment bans loom – even though your employees have a right to residence. The authority's overload is legally not an admissible reason for the delay.
How I support you
- Grant and renewal of your employees' residence permits – whether skilled or semi-skilled
- Work authorisation as part of the residence permit, including the approval procedure of the Federal Employment Agency (§ 39 AufenthG)
- Acting against protracted proceedings: a formal reminder and action for failure to act (§ 75 VwGO)
- Representation before immigration authorities and embassies
- Assistance with refusals, queries, and provisional residence certificates (Fiktionsbescheinigung)
How we can work together
You instruct me directly. You entrust me with the residence-law matters of your workforce – I take over the proceedings and keep you informed.
You support your employee in the background. Many employers want to help without running the procedure themselves. I am happy to represent your employee and to coordinate the steps so that little effort arises for you.
You are affected yourself. As an employee, too, you can turn to me directly. I represent your interests before the authority – clearly, reachable, and at your side.
What this means for you
You keep your trained employees. A single point of contact keeps an eye on the deadlines and intervenes before a delay turns into an employment ban – reachable in German, English, and Greek.
Frequently asked
How quickly do you respond to enquiries?
Usually within 48 hours. For urgent matters and deadline cases, we recommend calling. (Emails can occasionally end up in the spam folder.)
Is an online consultation equivalent to in-person?
Yes. By video or phone I work the same way as in person — across Germany and internationally. You can send documents as photos or scans in advance; I check the deadline and respond.
Which languages can we work in?
German, English, and Greek — all three near-native. Write or call in whichever language is most comfortable for you.
